Alexandra-Andreea Ciritel has specialised in the study of couples’ decisions in intimate relationships and singlehood. Her research explored fertility intentions, living together decisions, relationship transitions, singlehood, life satisfaction, social networks and people’s intimate and sexual lives. Alexandra has a passion for helping people make better decisions in their romantic and intimate lives. Her approach combines demographic, psychological, sociological and sex research.
She has a Ph.D in demography from the University of Southampton, a Masters in demography from the Max Plank Institute for Demographic Research. Her work was supported by prestigious scholarships, like the Economical and Social Research Council (ESRC) and the Centre for Population Change (CPC).
